The Beaches of South
Walton:
 | The area shown in the map is called The Beaches of South Walton, which is
located in Northwest Florida on the Florida Panhandle. It is a world of natural beauty unlike any
other - a special place that includes Seagrove Beach, Seaside, WaterColor,
Grayton Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Sunrise Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Dune
Allen Beach, Beach Highlands, Seacrest Beach, Rosemary Beach and Inlet
Beach. This section of beaches stretches along a road
called 30A. It is an area where development
has come more slowly (construction is limited to 50' Max. height). Nature's treasures still remain unspoiled. The
pristine shoreline along 30A is draped with the aroma of clean salt air and the fresh
scent of deep pine forests. |
 | The majority of land is dedicated to
state parks and forests. In
addition to the fabulous beaches, there are miles of terrific biking and hiking trails,
great golf courses nearby, and numerous opportunities for amusement, shopping

 | Muriel's Grove is located in a community called Grove By The Sea in
Seagrove Beach. It is located midway between Destin and Panama
City, in the heart of the Emerald Coast and Beaches of South Walton County.

Seagrove Beach there are 144 holes of great golf - on top rated,
professionally designed, well manicured courses with gorgeous greens and
fairways, driving ranges and fully
stocked golf shops. The beautiful Fazio designed Camp Creek
Golf Club and The Santa Rosa Golf Club (both open for public play) are only minutes away by car from

the family, the area has a fabulous system of bike trails
and sidewalks. Along Scenic Highway 30-A there are over 20 miles of
paved trails perfect for biking, hiking, jogging and rollerblading. In
the adjoining State Forests and along the roads connected to 30-A there are many more miles of trails.

Point Washington State Forest, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park

please even the most serious fisherman and fly fisherman in the
family. Saltwater fishing opportunities
abound in the Gulf of Mexico, and Choctawhatchee Bay. The Harbor at
Destin is the berth for hundreds of fishing charters with daily and overnight

 | Tennis: The area is a tennis lover's haven with all levels of play
available at Seaside (soft courts), and Rosemary Beach (soft courts). In our Grove by the Sea
community you have your own tennis court (hard surface) just 150 yards away! |
 | Water Sports: You can enjoy sailing, boating, skiing, snorkeling, kayaking,
canoeing, surfing and more! Marina and water-craft rentals are available. You have
access to the public boat ramp just 4 miles away in Grayton Beach. |
Entertainment and Historical Sites:
 | Seaside entertainment: Wonderful cultural and social events
are scheduled throughout the year. The events range from wine tastes,
concerts, theater, artist
festivals, and writers' conferences, to antique car shows and to mega garage

shown outside, and on weekends local bands play for the vacationers
on the Seaside village green. These are special - warm evenings by the

 | Eden State Gardens & The Wesley Mansion: An absolutely
beautiful location with landscaped
grounds, large oaks with Spanish moss and a turn-of-the-century mansion filled with antiques.
A terrific place for a change of pace picnic and outing overlooking the
beautiful Choctowatchee Bay. Located at historic Point
Washington, the gardens are open daily and guided mansion

Shopping and Dining: There are exceptional shopping
opportunities in Seaside, Gulf Place, Rosemary Beach and Sandestin with unique boutiques, antiques, and outdoor markets.
